Oh sun & moon

As the sun envelops me

I sense the sea

beginning to rise

Cutting the ties

as I realign towards my destiny

dearest moon

I call upon you

to cast your shadows

on the darkest parts of my heart

so that my inner child may start..

to guide the way

finding a safe place for us to play

So today, as I bow my head and pray

I say... “thank you, thank you for illuminating this pathway”
